Hi, my name is Will Clark and the name of my company is "Clarkwork". Clarkwork is a business that is dedicated to lessening the environmental impact of home improvement.
For years, home improvement has had as it's sidekick an ugly thing called waste: Wasted boards; wasted nails; wasted windows...you name it and it has been unnecessarily thrown into a landfill. Here at Clarkwork, we strive towards waste free work. I often use reclaimed boards, plywood and windows etc. because if they are still in good shape, they deserve to be used again. Using reclaimed materials is just the first step. Clarkwork proudly uses low VOC paint. We install "solar-tubes" and openable skylights to facilitate natural lighting and airflow. In any phase of home improvement, Clarkwork strives for "green" building techniques.
Also, at Clarkwork, we use bio diesel as our transport fuel. Bio diesel is not the "cure-all" to global climate change, but it is a step in the right direction.
